An Elegant Evening to say the least!

With nearly 200 in attendance at this year’s Annual Heroes Banquet and Dance, the evening was filled with exuberance. Our keynote speaker, The Honorable Jamaican Consul General to Miami – Mr. R. Oliver Mair, eloquently addressed the gathering as he encouraged us to invest in the growth of the Homeland – Jamaica.

Other Highlights of the evening were the recognition and honoring of the Jamaican National Heroes, in addition, to our local Unsung Heroes – Veronica Dixon and Mr. & Mrs. Laughton Parchment. 

JCC Founder, the late Claudette Bailey was honored for her dedication and service to the organization. A Scholarship Fund was launched in her memory. The evening concluded with a season of dancing and socializing. What an awesome evening indeed.
