Bio:

I’ve been a member of JCC since 2019. I currently hold the position of Recording Secretary. As a JCC member, I enjoy meeting and interacting with other members.
I was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and in 1970 migrated to New York, where I grew up. In 1998 I relocated to Orlando, Florida, where my husband and I raised our two sons.
My 26-year career as a Court Stenographer in the Central Florida area has afforded me the opportunity to learn about a myriad of subjects, which has proven helpful at times. This experience has prepared me to carry out my responsibilities as Recording Secretary.

Paulette Nurse was born in Jamaica along with four siblings. As a child, Paulette had aspirations of being a Nurse. Never in a million years did she think she’d stumble into the computer field especially when it was unusual for women to enter the profession. You can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life.

Paulette was taught at a youthful age that if you want something in life, you must work for it, and that she did.  She worked hard and earned a degree in Computer Science.

As the years went by, Paulette worked her way from a Billing clerk to becoming a System Analyst/Programmer. She developed and implemented computer systems for several banks in New York and other companies such as Arion Pictures and Sotheby’s International. She never wavered in her resolve to be the best version of herself with each career move.

Paulette got into the real estate industry over 10 years ago, after she relocated to Florida with her husband.

As her career in real estate advanced, Paulette found her stride working with First time homebuyers and sellers in the Greater Orlando Area.

Paulette lives in Apopka with her family. In her free time, she enjoys reading, dancing, traveling and entertaining family and friends.
