Bio:

Andrew Browne migrated to the USA in August 1983. He is married to the Rev. June Browne and have three adult children. Prior to retirement, Andrew served as an IT division Associate Vice-President at a prestigious Wall Street Brokerage firm. He also has over thirty years of Recording and Sound Reinforcement experience. In addition to serving as the JCC Membership Chairperson, Andrew is the current JCC webmaster and maintains the site with updated information when it becomes available.

Bio:

Dave Lewin is a founding member of the Jamaican Cultural Connection and the Organization’s first Treasurer.

In his position as Chairperson of the By-Laws Committee, he was instrumental in drafting the original By-Laws of the organization and currently still serves as the Chairperson.

Dave was born and grew up in Jamaica and migrated to Canada in 1978 where he rose to the ranks of Senior Management for a major Life Insurance Company in Toronto.   He later relocated to Florida in 1972 where he ventured into the Food Industry by owning and operating a couple restaurants in the Orlando area.  He was also involved in Automobile sales before becoming an Independent Agent and establishing his own Life and Health Insurance Agency in Casselberry.

 Dave is now retired from business and now focuses on his family, wife Sandy, children, grandchildren and his lifelong pursuit of his Christian faith and walk.

Bio:

Cal Allison hails from Mocho, Clarendon, Jamaica. He attended Excelsior High School in Kingston and Southside Senior High in Rockville Center, New York. Cal furthered his education by attending Morgan State University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.

Cal Allison is a U.S. Military veteran where he served during the Vietnam War. Before retiring from the Department of Juvenile Justice, State of Florida, Cal Allison worked as a personnel manager with Citibank and as a manager of Villas Negril Resort in Negril, Jamaica. 

Although “retired” Cal is an avid philanthropist. Cal manages the FAACS Foundation of which he is the founder. The FAACS Foundation assists families in Mocho. On the local front, FAACS Foundation has provided scholarships for students at Evans High School, Orlando, Florida.
